ASM is a score metric designed by AgendaStats for one primarily reason: to extend the replayability of Global Agenda by providing friendly competition and a method of tracking your performance and progress. ASM resets monthly and is only given to players who are above level 30. To be eligible for ASM based awards you must complete a minimum of 30 PvP games that month.
How is ASM calculated?ASM compares player statistics across six primary "weighted scores": kills, assists, healing, damage, defense, and objective points. The score for each of these categories is based on multiple factors but is primarily determined by the number of points received per minute, death, and mission (in that order of importance).
Class averages are used to determine a base number of points which players are expected to get for each catagory. On top of those scores you are given a bonus (or penalty) based on the number of games you've played and your win percentage throughout those games. A perfectly average player will receive a total of 6 points from the "weighted scores" (the exact weight of each category is dependent on class). Your ASM is a base of 94 + your number of points, resulting in an average ASM of 100.
AC stands for "Actual Contribution" and is a score very similar to ASM which is given on a mission by mission basis. It does not factor in anything which spans more than one mission (no win percentage, games played, or other modifiers). Like ASM it uses the six "weighted scores" to determine your contribution to your team.
What is EC?EC stands for "Expected Contribution" and is simply the average of your characters last 100 AC scores.
How are EC and AC used?EC, in addition to map balance statistics, is used by AgendaStats to predict the outcome of missions. Comparing players actual contributions to their expected contributions can also help to explain unpredicted outcomes. For example if one team's strongest player goes AFK for the majority of the mission this will show clearly in their AC number (it will be much lower than their EC). "The Fame" and "The Shame" awards are given to help recognize those players which may have contributed greatly to the mission outcome.
Why does [Player Name] have a higher AC than I do?AC is done on both a class and win condition basis. This means that scores are not directly comparable across classes and teams. Each of the six categories carries different weights for each class and each players scores are compared only to the averages of their own class. Likewise, winning players are compared only to winning players and losing players only to losing players (this makes seeing a higher "AC" on the losing team a relatively common occurrence).
Only missions played above level 30 are counted for any of the ranked statistics on the site. Your pre-30 missions will show up in the recent mission list but none of the character data inside your profile will show until you are above level 30.
Why does my level show incorrectly?Character levels and generic account information, such as most the stats in the top two profile boxes, are not updated automatically. Just hit the "Refresh Player Basics" link in the top right of your profile.
OMG This FAQ SUCKS! Where are the good questions?!?!Sorry, this is just an extremely rough draft. If you have any questions for me that you would like added to the list please contact me via the official Global Agenda forums. I will eventually have a messaging feature built-in to this site but that's a work in progress (like most of the things here!).
